Classes and Events

We meet (via Zoom) twice a week for our knit/crochet groups (Stitch & Bitch):

Tuesday Morning 10 am - noon; Meeting ID: 390 297 111 Password: 458671

Thursday Evening 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm; Meeting ID: 417 738 757 Password: 115661

We also host a monthly Spin-In and Weaving Group on the FOURTH SUNDAY of the month from 1 pm - 5 pm. Currently, this group is meeting via Zoom as well. Meeting ID:821 7622 1487  Password: 568567

Weather permitting, we will "broadcast" from the porch. You're welcome to join us; bring a chair, and plan on masking up if you need to work closely with someone or enter the shop.

The next few Spin-In/Weaving groups dates are: May 23rd, June 27th, July 25th, August 22nd.

We normally have a fairly full class/workshop schedule. But again, due to physical space limitations and the current COVID protocols, we have canceled all in-person classes until further notice.

The workshops and groups listed here will be held VIRTUALLY.

If registration is required, call or visit the shop to register. We can take payment information over the phone or send you a Paypal invoice via e-mail. Because these are VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS there will be no refunds for missed classes.

  • Wonderful Weather Wednesdays: Wednesdays beginning May 5th, 4 pm - 7 pm. If the weather permits, and ONLY IF THE WEATHER PERMITS (I mean, it's in the name, isn't it?!) we'll meet on the porch for an impromptu summer stitching group. Bring your own chair (we no longer have porch chairs) and your project. Space yourselves appropriately, and bring a mask to wear if you need to enter the shop or help a fellow stitcher. If the weather turns, the group is over for the night, as we don't have enough space inside the shop to safely meet (yet).
  • Sunstruck Shawl KAL (Knit-a-long): Weds in June, 5pm - 7pm. $15. Registration required. Using the Sunstruck pattern by Laura Ayler we'll work on short rows to make this striking shawl. The pattern includes a fill-in-the-color schematic to help with color planning as well as yardage for each section, making it a great stash buster too. Pattern is available on Ravelry or This KAL will be virtual (mostly), but we intentionally scheduled it to correspond with Wonderful Weather Wednesdays, so we may occasionally be able to meet in person!  THIS IS A VIRTUAL WORKSHOP; we use Zoom. A workshop link will be e-mailed to each registrant prior to the first session. It is each registrant's responsibility to check their e-mail and join us.
